"Bérot" Studio gite situated in the quiet rural countryside of Brassac in the Tarn & Garonne South West France. The studio gite is attached to the owners house but very private with own entrance, bathroom with bath tub, toilet, large room with kichenet, double bed and a mezanine for small children. Bérot offers accommodation for two people or family with wanting an authentic taste of French country living in a tranquil private setting. Smokers are asked to smoke outside. Due to our animal farm We are unable to accept pets. |

The studio consists of a one floor living space very
cool in the hot summer months. kitchenet, gas cooker/oven, a sink,
fridge. TV with dvd player, WIFI, (A washing machine for your use is
available) there is a table which seats four, we have an open air
pool available for you to cool down when often very hot in the
summer months.

There are many beautiful 11 century stone villages to visit close to us with restaurants specializing in the famous South West cuisine also many with local product markets. Lauzerte is a 11 th century bastide town perched on top of a hill. A 20 minute drive from Bérot, this historic village attracts artists from all over France and further. Throughout the summer there are painting exhibitions, outdoor concerts in the main square, a Saturday market and several excellent restaurants. Lauzerte is clasified as one of the most beautiful villages in France. Montaigu de Quercy (20 minutes by car) has a popular Saturday market that attracts local farmers selling their home-grown produce. Fresh goats cheese, organic vegetables and free range duck are just some of the delights on offer. Montaigu also has a large lake with a sandy beach, water slides and lots of activities for children.

Brassac (5 minutes away) has a magnificent 11 century chateau with a fantastic history dating back to the 100 year war which includes Richard the Lionheart, The face on the playing card "Jack of Diamonds " was that of "Hector de Gaillard" owner of the chateau de Brassac in the 14 th century. Open for visits during the summer months.
